Im Two weeks late on my period, negative home preg test but the doctor wont let me get a blood test?

Ok, im never late for my period and i find myself 2 weeks late today. My husband and I have been TTC and havnt gotten anywhere. Lately i have been very very moody, iv been extremely tired, Feeling a little sick but not enough to throw up, i have had really bad back pains and heartburn. I have taken 2 Home tests and both were neg. although the last one took forever to show up. The doc told me they dont do blood tests unless they have to but i really feel deep down i am pregnant. He told me that maybe i got pregnant before my period and so my levels cant show up just yet. Have any of you been in this situation where the tests were neg. but you were pregnant? And has anybody gottten pregnant right before their period was to start? Im 21 years old, Married and have a beautiful 2 year old if anybody needs that information. Thanks

Maybe your hcg levels are not high enough for the home pregnancy test. Try again after a few days with another pregnancy test then demand a blood test. If your doctor refuses get a new doctor. Being a patient is the same as being a customer at a store, if you don't like the service that you are getting you shop elsewhere. You or your insurance is paying for the services your doctor is supposed to provide and if you think you might be pregnant you have every right to demand a blood test.
