Im confused. i am 5 days late for my period and went to the doctors for a test ...?
my boyfriend and i were worried because i am 5 days late for my period so we went to the doctors yesterday for a test. the results were negetive but as we started to get excited the nurse told us there is only a 70% chance that its negetive. we have to go back on tuesday for another test. i dont understand this because i thought a pregnany test worked from the first day fo your missed period. it will be difficult to go back on tuesday because at the moment im at university, my boyfriend lives an hour away from me and as hes a teacher, he finds getting time off work difficult.
im confused, should we just trust the first tests negetive?

But listen to the Dr and go back when she told you too. You could be putting your period off also by worrying so much. And while you're at the Dr get on the pill.

No... only because it depends when you ovulated therefore there is always a few days difference... If you cant wait til tuesday buy a home test and see what that says tomorrow morning.|||YES ITS HARD TO UNDERSTAND BUT I AM REALLY YOUR DAD|||The test will be inaccurate that early.
