Is bad to be in your late 20's & not be married yet?
I'm in my late 20's & my family's been pressuring me to get married. It's not like I don't want to. I mean I'd love to. I've come close & I date plenty. I just haven't found anyone yet that I've felt I belong with. I'm not even 30 yet & some of my family has already given up on me like I'm an old maid destined to never marry. Should I really feel bad or worried?

Women are getting married later and later now. NOW is the time to enjoy yourself, travel, have fun, experience whatever you can't or won't experience if married!
Tell your family to go see a therapist! That's horrible that they are even saying those things to you...whatever happened to supporting an independent strong daughter!?!?!?
PS. i'm 33, single and own my own business....If I were married and had kids, that probably wouldn't have happened.
Sheesh, some of y'all are making it sound like even 30+ is the right time...trust me, all my friends that have gotten married previously (in their 20's), they are now enjoying divorces! Wait till you are 50 if that's what makes you happy...or never at all!
