Is it too late? am i destined to be a burger flipper?
To answer your comment: teachers don't "forget" to add extra credit. It could be you did it too late to get onto the progress report. Speaking as a teacher, I'd suggest that you do the assignments when you're supposed to instead of asking for extra credit work to increase your grade. This is not the way to try to get into med school.|||Nothin's too late if you have your heart and passion in it. If your grades are bad, that probably means you aren't committed to studying in order to get top grades.
Pretty much in life, what you get is what YOU created.|||How do teachers forget to change your grades? Did you forget to improve them? Your punctuation is non-existent, so you seem a bit behind for 11th. College scores are much more important that high school, and you may still be able to train out of the country with 3.0 GPA. But I would get very serious if I were you, and get all your pre-med courses up to a B or better.|||NO! It is not too late and dont give up!
#1- You need to up your confidence. Have faith that you will be able to succeed. You may need to study longer than others and ask your teachers for help. Ask if you can make up an extra credit assignment, tutoring, anything! If you are asking them, chances are they will help you to get a better grade and take into consideration that you are trying so hard.
#2- Start prioritizing your studies. Ok, you know you got a party coming up to go to, but the day after, a research paper may be due that you did not complete or you may need to take a test. What should you do? Get that paper done or study for that test!
