I own a 2 year old virgin female roborovski. Is it too late for her to mate? What are the consequences of my actions, for keeping her a virgin this long? Can't she be happy without sex or am I being being cruel? Is it possible for her to be happy a virgin and without a mate? What do I do with her? I don't want her to get pregnant and I'm not sure if she likes company or would rather be alone. I don't want to force a male hamster in her presence if she doesn't want to.. What do I do?

roborovskis usually become infertile after about 16 months. they usually like to live in groups, but if you try to introduce a new hamster all your going to get is a fight. i'm pretty sure your hamster has had a pretty content life without breeding. they dont have sex for fun, only to breed.

Humans, dolphins and I think pigs are the only animals who have sex for fun. It is not necessary to have her mate in order to have a fulfilled life. Plus, you probably don't want little hamms running around.|||Just buy hamster condoms and I think it will be okay.
