I am 38 years of age and was wondering if it would be too late to go back to school to try an get at least an associates degree (if not a Bachelor's degree) in fixing computers. I already have some college behind me (28 credits) but never finished because I had to drop out of school to care for my son when my girlfriend decided she couldn't be tied down with caring for a child. I am concerned about age discrimination because I would be in my forties when I graduate but I want to better my life. Can anyone offer advice and let me know what I can do?? Thank you!!

if its what you want then go for it but yes there might be some age discrimination|||I am currently an undergraduate student and have had more than one older person in my classes. So far as I know, they haven't been discriminated against in any way by the rest of the students. If that is a concern though, there are some colleges that specifically cater towards older people. Also, if you were to just take classes at a community college, I would think there would be more older students than at a University. I wouldn't let fear of discrimination deter you from going to school again if it's something you really want to do!|||Its never too late to pursue your degree. Dont let anyone discourage you. Some people don't really become good students until they "grow up a little." It sounds like you know what to expect. Yeah, some of the punk teenagers may give you a hard time, but who cares what they think?
