Is it too late to change doctor's??

I am 31 weeks pregnant. I am high risk, diabetes and I just left the hospital because of pre-term labor. While I was in the hospital for 5 days I saw the dr twice. That's it. I was very unhappy with the care I received, I got so upset I signed myself out of the hospital. Well now when I try to reach my dr he is out of state and the nurses say he may discharge me from his practice for leaving the hospital. I have a lot of problems with this pregnancy and I really need a doctor I am comfortable with, is it too late for me to try and find another doctor? And will they take me with all the problems I already have??

i changed doctors. you have to make the first medical decsion for you and baby. You should look for a doctor that specializes in high-risk like i have now. And i got a woman doctor who has been there and done that already.

its never to late to find a new doctor especially since you are not under good care by this one you have. Start phoning around now, or just walk into the clinics, they have a harder time saying no in person, and if you tell them your story, it will help you out. good luck to you|||the least you can do now is try. phone them up, that's the only way you will find out.|||I don't think you can get another doctor now.|||If you really feel like you need to them do it... it's important to have a doctor that you feel comfortable with. It is late though, so if you are going to do it, I would do it now..
