Is it too late to tell her how I feel?

I met this girl on new years talked to her lil bit there and few days later she IMed me online and we began talking quite often. i was initially attracted to her and still am, however i dont know if she ever was/is and am wondering if its too late to be more than friends. or is that all she sees me as and ever will?

she goes to an out of state school (but lives locally) and isnt graduatin til 09 which is why i kind of went down the path of just talking with her like friends and getting to know her you know? i havent really done a whole lot to show that i have interest in her because of that simple fact, i mean i have given the occasional compliments on her beauty and stuff but nothing overboard. i have given little signs but nothing that was convincing enough to show her i like her

its been 4 months now going on 5, what can i do, if anything, to somehow hint to her that i like her, not just tell her, and also how to find out if she has any interest in me? is it just friends 4ever now?

Just go for it. Ask her out on a date. The worst she can say is no, and then you're no worse off than you are now. BTW, my husband and I were friends for about seven years before we started dating.
