Late Periods after wedding?

I have been married for 4 months now and have had my periods very late after protected sex. Got married on 29th nov and had my periods on 17 dec, then Feb 6th and now waiting for it. Why is there so much delay ? is this normal ? Before wedding my periods were normal. I am overweight.. if that helps to reply to my question.
