Late intake of birthcontrol pill increase chances of pregnancy?
For the past 2 weeks, I have been late with taking my pill. I usually end up taking it 8-9 PM when I'm scheduled 4:20 PM. But I try to take it the next day at the scheduled time. I was wondering, if me repeatedly doing this would increase the chances of getting pregnant?

It does lower the effectivness, how much cannot be known. I would guess around 90-92% if I had to, instead of the 99.7% effective like if you were taking them correctly.
Since you seem to take it later, when you start your next pack you should take it at a later time to be able to be the most protected from your birthcontrol. Or check into other options, like the patch or the shot.

Yes this can increase your chances. In order for BCP to be as effective as they say you must take it on very regular schedule. Basically the same time every day. If you don't do this it decreases it's effectiveness.|||Yes. You can change the time though. Just start regularly taking it in the morning if that's easier for you to remember.|||the actual time you take it doesn't so much matter as long as you take it at the same time everyday. Your actually doing more harm by taking it late on day and then trying to "correct" by taking it at the scheduled time the next day. If 8-9 pm is an easier time for you just take it at that time everyday, (by the way, why is it exactly that you schedule it for 420?? :)
not taking it consistently will increase your chances of getting pregnant. When you start your next pick just start taking it later everyday and you'll be good to go.
