Late period question.?

Well, my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant. I have always had a regular period. I was supposed to start my period this last Friday 23rd. I didn't, so I took a pregnancy test, which came up negative. I ended up starting this afternoon. Like I said before, I have always had a regular period until now. I was 5 days late. Does anyone know why you would go from having a regular period to being irregular?

I was told one time that it happened to me that it's nerves. If you're thinking (or worried) about being pregnant, your body acts different and it is changed for it. Don't worry, and it should get back to normal. It's just your minds always thinking about it, right?

Could be stress. Wait a little longer to test and check how long this one goes for. Mine went three days and was light before I found out I was pregnannt(I was two months)|||The stress of trying to get pregnant could have delayed your period!|||You might want to try drinking more water, my period was supposed to start on the 23rd too, but it started on the 24th and I think it was because I had not had any water in the days before friday, so I would recommend water and fruits and veggies, yogurt works too.
