Late taking birth control. What will this do?
When you get a Sunday Starter, you're suppose to start the Sunday after your period STARTS.
My doctor was told that I was on my period last Friday (( the 20th )) and she filled the perscription for Ortho tri-cyclen lo. We had to pick it up late, on the 23rd. And this Sunday (( Yesterday )), unknowing that it was the Sunday after it starts not after it ends, took one at the time that I had decided (( 9:00PM )).
What effect will this have? I've already started, but should I quit and wait until next month?
The only thing I noticed was that last night my stomach hurt a bit, but then I ate a cookie and fell asleep and it wasn't a problem. I woke up this morning feeling fine.
What should I do?

Keep taking the pills consistently. Starting the pill pack one day late shouldn't be a problem.
I think they say sunday just because it's easier to remember and it's the start of a new week.|||It is better to consult with your doctor, please.|||Just keep on taking them. Don't stop and wait until next month. It don't have any effect. I was taking that for awhile then I stopped because I wanted to have a baby. Your stomach should not hurt for any reason unless you might be pregnant. Go back to the doctor and ask why your stomach hurts. But it could be the pill.
