My 5 month old niece is teething now and she is sucking and biting on everthing. Wish I had more advice for you. My sister gets a baby wash cloth wet with cold water and lets my niece chew on it and she seems to like it alot!

Our son had no teeth until he was 15 months old. L.A.T.E.!
For him teething was a lot easier than it has been for our baby who started at 5 months with her first teeth.
I love Children's Motrin. It lasts for 8 hours and works well.
I also use frozen banana in a mesh feeder bag- and this soothes the gums as well.
A frozen washcloth- wet, fold, place in a ziploc bag and freeze.
Popsicles...yum!
Good luck and I hope it gets easier!|||My first child got her first tooth on her 1st birthday! But for all of my teething children, I used frozen anything- bagels, juice bars, baby teethers, and tylenol. My kids also got diarrhea when teething so make sure you keep diaper ointment on her bottom for protection.
