My period is 10 days late. I took a test and it came out negative what could it be?

Well i am 18, and my period is 10 days almost 11 days late. Yes i have been sexually active, but i always use a condom. I am not sure why my period is late. I am not really stressed out or anything. My stomach has been kind of bothering me a little bit, or i will get light headed, or heat flashes, to the point where i have to turn the air conditioning on. My breast are not sore either. I have taken about 3 test when my period was only 4 days late and than a few days after and they have all been negative. Could i be pregnant or not. The last time i had sex was about a two weeks ago. I don't know what to do since i can't go to a doctor, any one have any ideas of what it could be?

Ten days late is not very late, really. I was a health educator for four years and much of my life was pregnancy tests. Many healthy women had late periods. If you have done 3 home pregnancy tests, you probably are not pregnant. To ease your mind, do this:

1. Try another pregnancy test with your first morning urine

2. If your period does not come in the next week, get a pelvic exam. If you do not have a doctor, call your local Planned Parenthood clinic.

3. Remember that blood pregnancy tests also can be wrong.
