My period is 15 days late, 2 negative hpts, and today brown discharge. What does this mean?

Last month, my period was on 10/23. Lasted about 5 days. had unprotected sex 11/9 and 11/10. I did not get a period for Nov. But around the time, that I was supposed to I had bad cramping. This lasted 3 or 4 days. Then I felt, what I can only describe as butterflies in my belly. This lasted a day or two. I took an hpt when I was 7 days late and another one when I was 11 days late. After that I figured it must all be in my head, there have been times when my period has been irregular (and I am kind of stressed right now). Today, I am having brown discharge. What does this mean? Could my period be coming. My back did feel as if it were cramping. Or should I schedule a dr's appt for a blood test?

Sweety, I usally am like that to. My periods come when they fill like it. Maybe from your stress your body held back the blood flow for Nov, but you still had some symptoms. Your period might be a little heavy this month because of that. But to be on the safe side I would still go see a doc. Hope everything works out.

p.s. use a condom sweety, unless you want a baby.
