I am 30 years old and was diagnosed with PCOS many years ago. I have never been pregnant and was told that I would have a 50/50 chance of getting pregnant, after a laparoscopy was done. I have enlarged polycystic ovaries and two OBGYN's say they doubt I am ovulating on my own due to the enlarged ovaries. I have not done anything to track my fertility or to see if I am ovulating. A Reproductive Endocrinologist prescribed me Metformim (usually for diabetest but used to treat PCOS) back in August of '06. I took it off and on for like 3 or 4 months and stopped. My period has been coming each month since then. The days kind of got later and later, but as of the past 3 to 4 months they have been coming on or around the 17th (within a day or so). To date, my period still hasn't started. I have taken two HPT's (New Choice - Dollar Tree brand) and both were negative. My stomach cramps off and on and my breasts are sore. When I think my period is about to start, it doesn't.

I think you have been just too stressed lately. And 6 days late will not tell you if you are pregnant. Just be patient and test again in a few more weeks if it doesn't come next month.

Try to relax and not be so stressed(easier said than done, I know).
