Ok, my period started when I was in 6th grade, I'm in 9th grade now. It started out coming every 28 days, until just about a few months ago then it started to come 24 then it switched to 22 days. Well my period was due on Monday and I still haven't gotten it. I'm just wondering why I haven't got it yet. I'm still a virgin. So I don't think there is anyway I could be pregnant but I'm still worrying that I am. What other reasons could my period be late?

First things first is that if you are a virgin and you are pregnant then someone needs to be having a word with God as he's up to his old tricks again. Seriously it could be any number of things, but the main one is that as you are only young and your body is just getting into it's cycle. Stress can sometimes affect it too and if you are underweight, I must stress though YOU ARE NOT PREGNANT! Have a chat with you Mum as well or a female member of your family to ease your fears
