Paying your credit card late?

I paid my credit card payment on the due date but it didn't process it until the next day, I got a late payment fee and it was considered late. Will that affect my credit score at all?

If this is your first time, probably not. Just remember to pay it before the due date so that its processed on time. If you paid it on line, and the due date was on a holiday or a weekend when their office was closed, then you can call them up to request that they rescind the late fee and not have you show a late payment on your record. If you have been paying on time up to now, then this will not affect your credit record.
