Im 13, and I got my first period January 18th this year. It lasted until January 24th. Then I got my second on February 25th, and it lasted until march 1st. So I was expecting my next period around the begining of april... but now its April 10th, and so my period is over a week late. I know it can be irregular at first, but its really annoying because Im waisting so many pads. Since I have to wear one everyday incase it comes back again, but then it never does come back! Ive went through a whole pack of pads in the past 2 weeks because Ive been waiting for it to start. And I dont want to empty out my mom's bank account from constantly needing supplies. But I know that once I put something besides a maxi pad on im going to start and leak everywhere, i just know it! What should I do? My periods SO late and im waisting pads! Help me plz!

Eventually your periods will get more regular. In the meantime, you are doing the right thing. Find the cheapest pads you can and buy them for the "waiting" days. Hang in there, it gets easier to tell when it is coming. Sometime you can go 2-3 months between periods at first. Good luck!

its really not that late, it will probably come soon,|||You could skip a month, when I first got mine i skipped 2-4 months. Wear pantyliners instead of pads. But keep a pad or tampon with you, that way if you do start, you have protection but your not wasting your pads.|||Try using the "mini pads" until you feel it start. You will be irregular for a while. It's natures way. Be patient. kjl|||I wouldn't worry about it. I've had mine for a couple years, and mine is 2 months late. Wear something lite, like a pantyliner. Kotex makes really thin pads too, and they come with a lot in one box.
