Snoring during late pregnancy?
I'm 33 weeks with my second child, and my husband tells me that recently I have been snoring like crazy. It has got bad enough that he's been sleeping in the spare bedroom because he can't sleep around me. I normally don't snore that much, so it's kind of a surprise. I know that I did snore with my first pregnancy, but it wasn't quite this bad.
I hear it's common during late pregnancy. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?
Thanks!
Snoring during late pregnancy?lyric operaoh yea I did... and same thing happened w my hubby at the time...
I asked my doc & he said it was because of the increased pressure on the diaphram... Plus by late term pregnancy you can't sleep on your belly anymore... So its a sleep position thing too... I dont know if the breathe right strips worked, but i ended up sleeping propped up on some pillows to help relieve some of the pressure on my diaphram... My advice, try some different situations and make sure you prop yourself up with some of those pillows. A friend of mine said sleeping on her side helped relieve some of the snoring...
Good Luck!

You are not alone! :)
It went away after I delivered. In the meantime, try breathright strips!|||Completly normal, just try those breathe-right strips without menthol. The tend to help quite a bit. Also if you buy one of those pregnany 'C' pillows the tend to help take some extra pressure off as well.|||Yes its common and u shouldn't bother about it.
