Taking pregnancy pills late...?

I was wondering if you can get pregnant if you take your pills a few hours late. I take mine everyday at 12 and yesterday I had school orentation and I left my bag at home. I took my pill once I got home a 5... and my husband and I decided to... well is there a possibility I could get pregnant? (also it is the 14th day of my pack)

It isn't likely that a few hours will make a difference. However, since you're just starting the pack, most doctors recommend you use a back up form of birth control for at least 2-3 months so that your body can adjust to the medication properly. If you don't want a baby right now, you should be using two forms of birth control until you start your 3rd pack. from now on, set the alarm on your cell phone to remember to take them. or switch over to depo, that's what i'm going to do.|||Usually as long as you don't miss a 24 hour period it's ok. But be sure not to miss a day and try to do that "doubling up" method b/c it doesn't work! (Trust me on that!)
