What can cause periods to be late?

Hey i have not yet had sex but my periods are around 5-6 days late. My periods are not always regular but i think they have not been this late before...what could be the reasons for this? I'v got two important exams coming up in May and i'm getting married at the end of this year...could stress be causing my periods to be this late? Is this normal?

Yes it's normal,don't worry....it could be stress.|||stress mostly.|||erm stress is a big main factor of period being late erm so is ur diet just keep an eye ur period if ur any more than 2weeks late theni would suggest seeing a doctor|||yah. stress does make it come late.|||Oh a number of things, diet, exercise, stress, sleep patterns, etc.|||yes, it is. hormonal problems link directly to mental problems.|||yes. its normal for it to not be regular.

dont worryy(:|||I was worried about mine not to long ago, i read up that apparentley it can be caused to be late due to stress and diet. im not sure about it... but from what you said, probaly stress =]|||stress is a big one 2 cause periods to be late or sumtimes something u eat
