What could cause spotting with a late period, the actual reaction of the body?

ok what i mean by this. what is going on in the body to cause spotting? i had 4 days late no period, now got this really strange pink blood? discharge? period? i dont think this is a period. i have pg symptoms, no positive test yet. so is this considered bleeding? it smells strong but it is a different smell from period blood. its pinkish and brown,what rection in the body causes this to happen. i know i could be pregnant and if i am why would this spotting happen?

when the egg implants itself in the uterus some blood will come out sometimes, not every women gets it........i got it with my first so not knowing about implantation i told everyone there is no way i was pregnant when i got sick and well now i have a 4 1/2 year old and now 13 weeks pregnant i didnt have any implantation

Go to your gp and get checked out . They can refer you to the hospital. Good luck|||my first period after i got pregnant was just spotting like that. its very common for the first month.
