What's the best laptop for a late teen who is in media?
Hi, I'm a late teen, and keen to buy a laptop, but I don't have too much money, and don't know a lot about laptops... I primarily want to edit videos that I record for projects, and burn copies of the edited film. I presume I will need a few firewire connections and a lot of disk space, but is there anything else I will need?
The graphics card should be a good one, but then I only have around ￡500, so are my demands that realistic?
Internet is a must, and the ability to play some recent games would be a plus (as work can get very boring!).
Any help appreciated, and if there is a specific laptop that you know fulfills my needs, please write the name!!

What's the best laptop for a late teen who is in media?violini agree with the above answer. for video editing and playing games you need a minimum of 1GB of Ram and a dedicated graphics card (those laptops with integrated graphics accelerators will not do it), but with those specs the price will increase considerably.
the best offer with those specs i found is a Dell Inspiron 6400, but the price is around ￡750 (change the graphics card to X1400 and the service to 1 year).
