What's wrong with me??? Late period!?
Hi, let me give you the run down of what's been going and you can give me your oppinions.
When I was a teenager, my periods were always irregular, like 28 days, then 40, then 30, then even up to 60 or 70... I couldn't get pregnant and so I took these chinese herbs and got pregnant the same month.
Well after my son was born- I started my period at 12 months even though I was still nursing. The next 3 periods were exactly 28 days apart. Then I got pregnant with my second child.
I weened her at 14 months and didn't start my period until 17 months. Now I am 2 weeks late.... What is wrong with me??? Is it normal to not have periods for so long? And why am I late now? (I took a test, negative)
Please any opinions or experiences... Thanks!

Having children will also change your body and your hormone levels as well, and you should not expect to have normal periods after having a child. It can take up to two years after child birth to have normal cycles.
However in your case, you've said you've always had irregular periods. This is something to discuss with your obgyn. He/she can run tests to see what your hormone levels are and deterimine if there are any other problems (like thyroid for example).
