When are you considered "late"?
I had my period april 17th, i usually have a 28 or somethin day cycle, i usually get my period 2 days earlier the next month, i feel crampy, but i had the same feeling when i was pregnant with my son...i bought a 2 pack pregnancy test yesterday, took one last night, was negative last night, i went to take the other one this morning, and it was also negative, but when i recently went to change the trash, they both became positive, it says on the package to disregard after 10 min, so are they false positives since it was past the 10 min? am i considered late yet? I never paid much attention to any of it...now im wondering if i should go buy another test...i dont feel like spending the money if i dont need to, but i wanna know...what should i do? am i late? are the positives unreliable? thanks!
When are you considered "late"?opera ticketHome pregnancy tests can be used two to three weeks after you think you may have conceived or on the first day of your missed period. Use one sooner than this and you may not get a reliable result.
Doctors recommend you don't take a test until your period is a day overdue. If you can't tell whether your period is late or not, because of an erratic cycle, or because you've taken the pill without a break, then you should wait three weeks after unprotected sex before you take the test.
