When is too late?

my daughter is 7 months old because of a number of circumstances she still has no nursery decorated yet so is in her cot in our room (still not sleeping through the night though!!) do you think its been left far too late and i wont be able to get her into a routine? its been worrying me a bit i know its important and i just feel like im doing everything wrong for her and i dont want it to be too upsetting for her when she does finally get her own room.

Just be relaxed about it mine were both about 6 months old when they went into there own rooms

No its not too late. Just decorate it and start to put her in there. It may take some time for her to adjust to the new room so have patience.|||don't worry about other people's standards for what your child should be doing by a certain age. Do what works best for you & your family. I think most moms feel like they're doing everything wrong at one point in time. as long as your child is healthy & happy, you're on the right path!|||Well health officials advise that babies move into their own room no sooner than 6 months, and she is only a little older than that so I shouldn't worry. Due to our own circumstances when my eldest was a baby she didn't move into a room of her own until she was about 15 months (when we moved to a two bedroom flat). We had no trouble getting her into a routine even at that age, she settled into it really well. I'm sure your baby will be fine.|||You should have no problem getting your child into a routine at that age. It is all about being persistant and that has worked while for me with my daughter.
