When while ovulating is it too late?

I am TTC and I am in my ovulation week...

I got my period on September 28th, I had sex 10/4, 10/9, and 10/11.

Yesterday I noticed that I had that "egg yolk" stuff when I went to the bathroom. It was more like Jelly... Enough to wipe 3 or 4 times (I know, TMI) but I am confused. What does that mean?

Yesterday I had so much "eggwhite" it was unbelievable. It was in abundance and I think that is what you mean by wiping 3 or 4 times. That is the way mine was. It has to be your fertile CM. Considering that your egg can live for up to 24 hours after ovulating, I doubt you were too late.

What are your cycle lengths? The CM you just described is optimal for fertilization. It sounds like you are about to ovulate and I would recommend having sex again tonight and tomorrow if you can. However, sperm CAN live anywheres from 3to7 days in the right conditions. What you are looking for is a stretchy like CM with streaks of white or pink in it to resemble egg white, but it is much harder to tell when there is semen mixed in. It sounds like you are still fertile, KEEP HAVING INTERCOURSE! More than likely you can ovulate late, so keep having sex every other day...maybe try tomorrow morning. Ideally, you'd like sperm to be waiting for the egg in the tubes, but if you ovulate late on cycle day 16-18 you could miss it if you abruptly stop TTC on cycle day 14. Not every woman ovulates on exactly cycle day 14. If you are still curious, you can get yourself some Ovulation predictor kits to really pin-point ovulation! Good luck, baby dust to you!!!!!!!
