Why is my period a little late??

Back in mid dec. i had light spotting for 2 days. On x-mas day i got my period but it was lighter then normal. I got my tonsils out jan 2 and then had some spotting mid jan. Its now jan 25th, and i haven't gotten my period yet. I am sexually active, with my boyfriend but he wears comdoms. i had sex with him at the end of nov. and then not again til about last week. so throughout the whole time we didin't do anything. I'm confused why i would have a late period. I did lose like 10 pounds in 1.5 weeks, but i have gained half of it back already. Could it possibly be that surgery messed my body up?

you could be preg. or your period couldnt be regulated yet( sometimes it is regulated for a couple months then acts stupid and gets all wacky) but just in case hun take a prego test
