19 Weeks with a HEADACHE!?





Im 19 weeks, and have had a minor headache for 2 1/2 days. I have a call into my doc but havent heard back yet today? Should I be worried or annoyed?

Probably you have no reason to worry. This is normal as the blood pressure changes in your body with the fetus.

However, it could be a warning sign. I doubt it, but you just never know.

Until then, assume it's nothing and try to not stress.

don't worry these are normal i started with a headache around 19 to 20 weeks and it lasted for 3 weeks straight!!!! my doc did prescribe me tylenol 3 with codeine to take at night and it worked only at night but all day my headache would still be there. This is because you're baby is reaching a huge growing point and your blood is starting to pump double now, and it causes some horrible headaches, sometimes even migraines.|||Just annoyed :). It happens. My doctor told me that if I were to get a headache that would not go away (because it happens more offten then you think during pregnancy) to take 2 tylonel down with a bottle of soda. The caffinee in the soda will help, and caffinee in pregnancy IS safe in moderation. :) Good luck and feel better!|||Headaches that don't go away can be an indication of a sinus infection or sinusitis. If your forehead hurts and it hurts right between your eyes, that could be it.|||I had headaches all the time when I was pregnant.
