3 Days late?

I'm three days late in getting my period. I took a test the night i was due to get my period and it was negative. Was it too soon to test? I have never been late or missed a period in the ten years i've been getting it. This month i've also concentrated on being much more calm and relaxed about getting pregnant cause we've been trying for 6 months now. Does anyone think it's possible that i am. I'm nervous about doing another test in case it comes out negative again. How much longer should i wait before i test myself again?

i would say test tomorrow in 2 or 3 days in the morning..it could have been too early to pick up the HCG hormone. If the test still comes out negative, go to the doctor and they can give you a very accurate test..also, if you aren't still, try having sex on the peak of your ovulation cycle..ie 7 days after your period..good luck! hope things turn out the way you want them too! dont give up!

u should wate a few weeks after your missed period a few days is way to soon|||test tomorrow am with first morning urine. if still neg and you are ttc i would go get a blood test to make sure your hcg levels are going up. good luck|||I would give it another week. Then, if it is still negative, go to your Doctor to do a blood test. Your hcg might not be high enough to read in a hpt. Plus, taking the test a week after your missed period gives it 99% accuracy. Good luck.|||I'm experiencing the same thing you are going through. I'm 2 days late and the negative test done on the date of my period. Still nothing. Wishing us baby dust!!!:)
