we are trying for a baby and i m 4 days late for my period....i am still getting a negative response from my tests?(the cheap ones) whats going on?could i still be pregnant?please help

I'd say give it another week, if your period still doesn't come, test again...I've used the cheap ones and had accurate results...it may just be too early for it to register...good luck, baby dust to you! Oh, if you don't want to wait, see about getting a blood test from your doctor!

doubtful. wait another 5-7 days then take another test.|||yes this happend to me wait a week (if you want to saqve money on tests) and retry then, otherwise you can go to the doc for a blood test, which show up earlyest and are acurate

good luck.........|||do you normally have very regular periods? If you do and the test is still negative you may a cyst on your ovary that is causing your body to not be able to start a period. Second of all, it may take awhile before your body develops a high amount of HCG hormone level. Your HCG hormone level doubles every 3 days. Try waiting a week and see if your period comes. If it doesn't, then take another test. I know the wait is unbearable, but trust me it's worth it!

It would be a complete waste of money in most cases to take a Home Pregnancy Test so early I know how exciting this is for you. I have been trying for 10 years so yes I have been there. Give it 2 weeks from the date of your missed period. That is a long time to wait. atleast wait 7 days after the missed period. The doctor will also tell you to wait a week to two weeks because your hormones need time to build.
