6 days late...scared to death.?

So...here's the deal...my girlfriend is 6 days late, but her period is pretty regular (anywhere from 26 - 31 days). Today is day 36, and although she is getting cramps like a usual period, she does not feel any different than normal. No breast tenderness, headaches, nausea, or any other pregnancy symptom. We had intercourse 4 times last month...always with a condom and always pulling out before I orgasmed, never having any slippage or splitting. How likely is it that she could be pregnant?

Also...me and her have been VERY stressed the past few days because of this. I've heard that stress only blocks ovulation...not a period. This has only made me even more stressed. Is this true or not? Are there any girls that can testify that stress has made their period late?

Stress can MOST DEFINITELY cause a period to be late. I remember afew years back, before I was married, when I thought I was pregnant and was extremely worried about it. I skipped that month's period altogether. If you guys are using condoms and you pull out I would highly doubt she is pregnant. Try to relax and let her body get back into its normal rythm. Also, has she thought about going on the pill or getting a Depo shot? This would give you guys a really reliable form of birth control on top of using condoms, and then you wouldn't necessarily have to pull out, as a lot of the sperm concentration acually comes outduring pre-ejaculation. I would say she's probably not pregnant, but anytime you have sex pregnancy is always a risk. Good luck you two. You'll be just fine! :)
