Any remedies to overcome this sickness? Swollen tonsils, headache, body aches........?

I have been laying on the couch for 3 days now. I cannot kick this illness. I thought it was the flu at first--I had a fever, chills, body aches, etc....but then my throat is VERY swollen--with white pockets on my tonsils. I have a massive headache also. Is there any remedy that I should try? I have been taking vitamins, drinking water, and I have only eatin half a thing of yogurt. It hurts to swallow and just move period. Any suggestions?

I would go see a doc... It sounds like you have strep or tonsilitis, you will need some anti-biotics to kick this crud.|||The white pockets on your tonsils suggests that you probably have a bacterial throat infection (like strep tonsilitis). The best thing to do is to go to the doctor. If it is strep, and it goes untreated it can affect your heart. If it is a bacterial infection you will be given antibiotics. You will feel better in a couple of days, but you MUST take all of the antibiotics. If you don't it will come back with a vengence, and the antibiotics won't work again.
