Anyone with the same headache experience?
I am not one who experiences headaches, it was actually a pretty foriegn thing to me up until a few months ago. I went to the Dr. and he sent me for CT scans of my brain, everything came out normal except that I have no frontal sinuses.
Over the past couple of weeks my headaches have intensified. I noticed that I get terrible ones after working out. It's not like I am doing anything new, just the same old exercises. I drink plenty of water, and eat well. My hands also go numb/tingly every now and then not necessarily after working out, sometimes while I am just making dinner or doing regular errands. Wierd.
I went to the Dr. again today and he sent me for tests. I have to wait a few days for the results and am feeling a bit anxious. Has anyone ever had this experience before, or know of someone who has?
Anyone with the same headache experience?classical musicSounds a little like what I was going through for a while. I did have a history of headaches but nothing serious. Several months ago, I started getting strange headaches that were more of a tingling than a pain. I let it go for a while but finally decided to go to the hospital to get a ct scan. It came out clear. They said it might just be a type of migrane so I stopped worrying about it and it subsided. A month later, the headache returned AND I started getting other symptoms with it like tingling in my hands and arms and legs. Then I really started freaking out. I started wondering if I had M.S. or a serious brain or circulatory problem. I went to several doctors and a neurologist and finally had a MRI done. From the beginning, my doctor mentioned that everything that I was feeling could just be a sypmtom of stress. After the MRI came back clear and no one could find any definite physical problem with me, I decided to accept that I could actually be causing most of the symptoms myself with how I deal with stress and anxiety. It's funny, most of the stress was coming from worrying about the symptoms that suddenly appeared so it's like an ugly cycle. After I took that attitude and decided not to worry about it and to ignore my symptoms if possible, they started disappearing one by one. Pretty soon, even the tingling in my hands and head went away. It took a few months but now all of my symptoms have faded away except my sleep is still not as good as it used to be. The only time I notice them reappear a little is if I have an especially stressful day. I don't know if that's what's causing your problems or not. I thought mine might have been a pinched nerve too but that came out clear. It's amazing how many forms that stress can take on you. You might wanna try relaxing things, not focusing on your symptoms for a few weeks and see if you notice any improvements. Even if there are other causes, not worrying can only improve you health while you work through these issues. I hope you feel better soon.
