Aura without headache a few weeks after delivery. Why?

I think it was something like a migraine attack but without the pain. I woke up at 2 am and saw this little dot in front of my left eye. It got bigger and bigger and looked like a zigzag pattern. After 30 min or so all was over.

Up to now I never had it again.

My ob/gyn told me not to worry.

You may have low iron. It sounds like you were about to pass out. This used to happen to me when I was between 2-5 months pregnant and shortly after his birth. sometimes in one eye but usually it happened in both.
