Yes, this is normal if you strain when you vomit. When you expel from your stomach, you contract muscles in more than just your abdomen. You strain the muscles of the face, neck, chest, arms, legs and eyes especially. If you check your eyes and you've strained so badly that you have a headache, you probably burst a few blood vessels in your eyes as well. This is called, and I hope I spelled this right, patikiae(said pa-tee-kee-aye). This is also normal and the blood vessels will repair themselves. I hope that this helps..I'm a sufferer too of the headache after tossing my cookies too.
