The anti biotic i took was amoxicillin Clavulannte Potassium it says for augmentin. it is 500 MG tablets. i took one last night around 4 PM. I started getting a strong headache and i vomitted around 12 PM. i still do not want to eat since 4 PM last night. is it possible its the anti biotic? and it affected me like that 8 hours later?

Anti-biotic? Yes it is possible. In fact, this happened to me once and the doctor told me to take half the dosage to keep from upsetting my stomach. Talk with yours and see what he/she says. However, this could be something else so keep an eye on it. It could be a possible migraine. I also used to have those and they would make me vomit also. Take two aleve and a nap in this case ;)

Maybe the dosage is too high for you. There are certain precautions before taking meds like is it taken with meals? You have to know it and so with the side effects.
