Can laxatives causes your menstrual cycle to be late?

i have a question in dying need to be answered. i am 31 and i have 4 kids and im not on a birth control. well i am about1 week late of my menstrual cycle. i was tkaing womens one a day then i started to take womens one a day weight advanced. well i noticed i was constripated. which was the beginning of this month so i stop taking the the womens one weight smart. i took a few laxatives and i am wondering when is my cycle is going to start. its realling irking me alot. i dont want to get pregnant and i seriously doubt i am. in april i was having problems too wigth my period in april i had one i spotted for 2 days off and on and then in may i hafd one that lasted almost 3 weeks and then 6 days later i had a period that asted 7 days. june and july everything was fine it came one month after when i bled for the 7 days. but august i am still waiting its really nerve wrecking cause i dont want anymore kids. i dont think its menopause though if it is then that will explain that the feeling hot

Laxatives do not affect your period. What I do not understand is why you do not use b/c of any kind or consider having tubal ligation? Why worry each month if you are or are not pregnant? Who needs this worry, I am sure you have plenty to worry about like raising your kids, cooking, cleaning working etc. In any case I would strongly advise you to go see your gynecologist and find out why your periods are so irregular.
