Can you get a headache/fever from being in the sun?

I live in Pennsylvania and was waiting outside after school today. It was all of a sudden 83 today and it had been in the 60's only a couple days ago. I'm half Italian with a fairly dark complextion but I am pale in the winter. I got some sun I guess when I was out there, and when I got home I started to get a headache.

Yes you can get a headache from the sun... It just means that your dehydrated and need some water....

When I was about 7 or so, I fell asleep on a park bench in the sun. It was hot outside, the middle of summer in New Mexico, and I woke up around an hour later with a killer headache and fever. My mom took me to the doctor, and he said I had heat stroke. I'm not sure if my memory is serving me right or not [I got a concussion soon after. :D], but I do believe he told me to go home and hold ice to my head, 15 minutes on and 15 off, and drink plenty of water.|||i get sick when i get a sun burn.

so, yeah, the sun can cause a headache|||Good answers so far. I use to spend my day at the horse ranch and at night I would get a terrible headache I believe it was also from the glare of the sun to your eyes consider sun glasses.
