I have had a headache 4 8 days ct scan normal given 6 different meds what could b wrong im scared?

This headache will not go away light noise all make it worse. Dr. said 2 soon to call it migraine. Should i c another doctor, different hospital

Have you seen the dentist? I had a neighbor that had a head ache and went to the family doctor. No luck... then she went to the dentist and it was her tooth. She did not have pain in her tooth when she ate or drank. She said it really felt like a head ache and was shocked it was her tooth causing the pain.

Try lying in a darkened room in the quiet with a warm flannel over your forehead if this eases it a little i would say it was a migraine. believe me migraines can be very painful and very debilitating when you get a bad one but they do eventually go away. Having the CT scan rules out any major nasties, one minus though stress makes migraine worse so try to chill.|||I went through migraines for 2 years after a bad sinus infection, They had me go through 3 sinus surgery's when some family was talking at a get together I found out my family has b-12 deficiency. They usually do not test for this if you are not anemic, but with family history they tested mine and low and behold they couldn't believe at my levels that I was even walking. I use to get shots, but now there is a nasal spray that I do once a week and I haven't had much trouble with migraines since unless I am low and my dose needs changed. It is worth checking into. Ask your family. Mine was a aunt and a uncle on my dads side.|||I had the same thing a few months back and was diagnosed with sinusitis. The infection in my sinus membranes were causing tension migranes. I was given antibiotics and the headaches went away a few days later. :)|||It depends... do you have any visual disturbances? This could be ocular migraines. Do you have any pressure at the bridge of your nose or in your cheeks (press on them and see)? This could be sinus headaches. These can be severe and last a long time. This maybe why your doctor can't tell yet if they are actual migraines. So hang in there.... and take whatever makes them better. You may have a sinus infection and don't even know it. Some people can have sinus headaches without any real symptoms of it being sinus like mucus.|||hi

Most likely it is migraine. You have to treat it as it is. Usually, we wait until 5 similar attacks to call it migraine, except if you have family history.|||I JUST WENT THROUGH THAT, C T WAS FINE. DR. SAID IT WAS THE BEGINNING OF MIGRAINS AND PUT ME ON TOPAMAX . HEADACHES ARE GONE.
