7 weeks late for period, but negative hpt at 4 weeks late, am I preggers or what!?
my husband and I have been trying to conceive. I am officially 7 weeks late for my period and counting. No major signs of pregnancy. Just the missed period. I have a little bit of fatigue, but also have a inappropriate tachycardia which could be the reason for that. I also have been nauseas (sp?) off and on the past couple of weeks and been a little moody, easily could be something else. I dont want to get over excited, but could I be pregant? Would it be worth it to buy another hpt?

On the other hand, I strongly thought my girlfriend was pregnant. See, she is three months late. We took SEVERAL home tests and all of them came out negative. then about a month ago she went in for a blood test and sadly, ANOTHER negative. So, I say, Don't lose hope. Go talk to a doctor. Tell him your symptoms, and request a blood test. I think, if you take the blood test, you will get an ALMOST positive answer. If you get a Negative, it is not the end of the world. Just wait it out, and you might find out that it is a false negative. Now I know what you are thinking. False negatives on a blood test rarely happens. Well, you just might be that "rarely"!
