DVD recorder/free-view intergrated?

I am thinking of getting a dvd recorder with intergrated freeview. at the moment I have just got the freeview box, I am looking to get the best out of my home theater system as poss and seem to be getting poor results. I have got a 6.1 sony home theater system I am going to be getting a new HDD tv and want to link them all together so I get some great sounds and quality when watching movies or the free-view. can anyone recomend any good recorders and some good advice on how to set it all up so i get best quality.

Go for a Sony RDR-HX710. It has a 160gb hard drive and a built in Freeview tuner.

It's also picked up several awards for its sound and picture quality (I've got one, and I'd agree...).

As a general rule, integrated systems are worse than separates... if you already have the freeview box, why compromise the quality of your DVD recorder? Get the best one you can for your money.
