Whats your opinion on DVDs that help you calibrate your HDTV, have you used any of the following?musicalsI've used DVE, Avia I, and S&V. DVE and Avia were the best. S&V is for beginners only. I have no experience with the last two in your list.
The only one I've used in HD DVD format is DVE. DVE comes in two-sided format. One side is HD and one side is SD. So I'd recommend DVE if you need to calibrate using both types of players.

Ive also used DVE and Avia, and i feel both do an extremely good job of calibrating your home theater whether its the audio or the video. Ive used both on standard and HD displays, and its amazing how much the picture improves even on non HD programming. Id recommend both to anyone, anytime. Show them the difference it makes in their home theater and they'll wonder, how was i watching tv or listening to music before this?|||The Monster/ISF is very simple to use and highly recommended.
DVE is also pretty good.
Check also the back of your DVDs for the THX optimizer symbol. Those discs include free test patterns and can do the job as well. (Check Finding Nemo, Star Wars, etc.)
