What Movie Is This? Sci-Fi / Horror / Late 80's or Early 90's?
I recently remembered a movie I watched years ago when I was a bit younger, which I can't for the life of me remember the name of.
My memory is very faded but this is what I remember about it:
I believe it was set on another planet, possibly a moon, maybe an asteroid. A team of people were working on the planet, perhaps mining or colonizing it. The team then discover a cave and a large platinum "box" or something inside, my memory is shady but I think I recall them having trouble getting inside the box, possibly using drilling equipment. Once inside they discover strange writings inside it and head back to base. They are then stalked by a huge scarey creature from inside and a typical movie storyline of everyone getting killed ensues.
* It was probably made in the late 80's or early 90's.
* It probably had a moderate to average size budget, possibly a bit lower than most mainstream movies, but not quite a B movie.

On a direct collision course with Earth, a large moon rapidly approaches from the outer regions of the solar system and Dr. Dana Shaw is sent along with a specialized mining crew to try to alter its course.
