Co-worker attractions?

I work closely with a guy I have been attracted to since I first met him. He is kind of a walking soap opera, he has had a work place relationship that ended his marriage, and he may or may not be seeing that person still. We have known each other for five years, but we have only been co-workers for the last few months. I don't think he really knows I have feelings for him and I'm thinking that is best. I have spent so much time getting to where I am in my career, and now that I'm looking at turning 25 and I want a relationship but I don't have a lot of experience in that area. He’s five years my senior, my friends think I should go with someone my own age. I need help!

co worker relationship is not a good idea. it usually is never something serious, why would you want to get involved with a walking soap opera. Unless you want a drama full life. He sounds very complicated, and should be left alone. remember you are not sure if he is in a relationship with the woman(the co worker)still. so be care full! You sound like a very decent woman, who have not been exposed to those charactors out there, keep it that way, until Mr. Right comes along, and you would know, when that happen, because he won't have all the baggage that this guy have.
