So my roommate met this guy from OK at summer orientation (yah, we're fresh). I met him during move-in weekend, and we all went out to dinner Sunday night. During that dinner, we talked about what we did when we were younger and I mentioned that I liked to read a certain series of books. On Tuesday,I found a book of the series on my desk with a note along these lines: "I saw this and thought of all the wonderful times we've had; let's all have a campfire so we can have a magic 3". He was refering to the fact that we wanted to take him to Frisco and Santa Cruz and he wants to add on a campfire. But the wonderful times? I'd only met him 3 times. After that, he kinda started this teasing run. My roomie wondered if he liked me too, called him up and asked, but he said no. He had a gf (who he just broke up with last week). He didn't tell me, just my roomie who said I shouldn't mention it to him, but he told her "I'll never get over Jessica?" WTF? Whenever I asked him how he's doing last week, he never mentioned his gf. He'd just say he was good and tell me about something great that happened. And once we had lunch (not a date, just chillin at the school cafe) and I noticed that he was pretty popular, someone was always interrupting dinner. He talked with some girls too and I wondered if maybe I was special because if he gave every girl he met a gift wouldn't he be broke? And then two days ago I told him about a free opera show on campus I was going to and he said he'd go with me. So what is up?
