hey, im going on a this date with this really nice/hot chick next weekend. it will be our first and i plan on taking her to a horror movie at the theatre. ive known her for along time and we both really like each other. any tips on what i should do? we are both 14 btw.

A few things to remember:

1) Try not to get too focused on the movie. The date should be about YOU and HER.

2) If an opportunity for a kiss comes up, take it! Don't hesitate, just go for it.

3) That said, if the opportunity doesn't come up, don't try to force it. It should come naturally.

4) While you should pay for the movie, DON'T pay for her to enjoy popcorn or drinks... if she wants you to, it could be a sign that she is using you.

5) When in the theater, let her initiate any touching (except the kiss, when/if the opportunity comes). Use her touching to judge what she's feeling.

Girls really don't want guys who grovel at their feet and who they can walk all over. Girls want a guy who is strong, decisive, masculine, and can stand up for himself. YOU decide which movie to see. Let HER do the chasing, and don't always be readily available whenever she wants you. Girls like a bit of a challenge. Also, don't make her your "top priority." As a man, you are busy with other things and see her when YOU want to see her. Don't treat her like crap, but also don't be afraid to stand up for yourself and call her out. Sheesh. If you do follow Kris' advice, DON'T BE SURPRISED IF YOU END UP IN THE "FRIENDS" CATEGORY. GIRLS ARE NOT ATTRACTED TO SUBMISSIVE OR EASY-TO-GET GUYS. If you let her, she will walk all over you, then dump you saying she just wants to be friends. Yes, pay for the movie, but nothing else.
