Why do movie producers think they have to have loud music in films?
I recently attended the new film , "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. " I liked the story line and the graphics, but I didnt like the extra loud music that the film incorporated. The sound effects were overly loud too. I dont know how long it takes for a persons eardrums to be harmed, but if these films continue to be over a certain decibel, then young viewers of today will not achieve the age of 50 years of age without having significant hearing loss. This doesnt require an answer, except.......Can we get movie producers to quit bombarding their audience with extra loud music? I dont think I am going to go to another movie in the theatre if this is becoming the norm.

As mentioned above, its the theater. They like to crank it up to put their sound systems to use. It also hides audience noise very well.
