I need advice quick on what to do when stressing out on test and losing items??
I recently lost my wallet which doesn't have much in it but $6, a few receipts (I'm about 13, I don't use a credit card for obvious reasons), my library card, bus pass, school ID, and some gift cards. I got so depressed that it was my band concert day and my math exam. I totally flunked the math exam, messed up heck on my band solo and songs, and now I have a chinese school final and I'm ending the quarter in Algebra with a B. I hope eventually I can raise it, but I feel like dying just about now. Do you have any suggestions on what to do? Please, honest answers I'm stressing out now....

Think of your brain as being three different layers -
The primitive part (reptile) that understands one thing: fear
The mammal part that's interested in social behavior
The higher reasoning part that write sonnets and watches the stars.
The primitive part can't tell the difference between losing your wallet and a charging rhinocerous. It just knows one thing - bad stuff happening equals I'm going to die.
So, when you stress, you're inner lizard has taken over. Heart rate goes up, breathing gets quick and shallow, vision tends to narrow, and because of oxygen deprivation you lose access to higher brain functions.
